Having won the pitch for Macmillan's Worlds' Biggest Coffee Morning in late 2014, we are experiencing that rarest of outcomes: the pitch work will run.
Our catch cry that 'Cake tastes better together' is the overarching idea behind our 25th-anniversary reboot of the World's Biggest Coffee Morning. It celebrates the friendship and sisterhood that sits at the heart of the event, and that has helped to make it one of the UK's most successful fundraising events.
Research told us 'cake pulls!', so our press and outdoor campaign features a series of glorious baked creations, each decorated with our galvanising campaign line.

At the heart of the Coffee Morning sits 'The Kit' - everything a host needs to plan, throw and fundraise at their own coffee morning. Our new kit includes invitations, cake flags, recipe cards, a tablecloth and more - all in a modern new style that moved the charity on from the 'florals and lace' of previous years.
The best bit in the kit? The cake duster! Hostesses are encouraged to share their centrepiece creation with the hashtag #coffeemorning
These fun stickers are also included in the kit. Different versions were created for kits, depending on whether they are for an event being held at home, a school, a workplace or community centre.
To ensure every coffee morning raises money, a new donation box was created with little nudges encouraging people to fill it right up. 'Baked or faked' was one of several new games created to further top up the pot.
